Exit the sexless marriage

Author: Davis (USA)
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-09-01
Features: The author's 20 years of clinical experience in helping couples facing marital obstacles is not only reflected in the touching stories throughout the book but also demonstrated by the wisdom that permeates every page. The author's pragmatic and straightforward writing style shows a profound understanding of asexuality in marriage. What impressed the author most about the book is Michelle's courage to speak the truth without mincing words. She doesn't beat around the bush. In the second part, she tells us, "Fasten your seatbelt," and that's exactly what it means. She speaks bluntly and equally to both men and women in devastating marital situations on the brink of collapse. Over the past 20 years, the author has been researching this topic and considers himself a worthy expert. However, when the author read this book, he was visibly shaken. The author is a low libido person because, in the author's experience, some parts of the book describe his own journey. As far as the author knows, Michelle is first and foremost a marriage counselor. She directly identifies the conditions needed to rekindle a marriage, including the responsibility of both partners to take effective action. Many chapters in the book are worth the author's praise, but he has only selected a few of his favorites to pique your interest. Michelle has the courage to say that if you are in an asexual marriage, even if a life without sex is not a problem for you, you are already in a marriage on the brink of collapse. Another thing the author likes is that it's not enough to understand the reasons why you have no interest in sex; you must take action.
