While retaining the essence of the original book, some content and chapters were updated, outdated material with limited testing points and purely linguistic knowledge was removed, and new 2006 national Gaokao questions and some independently administered Gaokao questions from provincial-level cities were added. Additionally, new question types from certain high school English curriculum reform areas were included. We sincerely hope these changes will bring students a fresh learning experience.
