Is it normal not to have any symptoms after being pregnant for 40 days?

Patient's question:

10/7 last menstrual period. 11/7 tested positive with a pregnancy test. But now there's no reaction at all—is that normal? Sometimes I have a little pain in my lower abdomen! First follow-up question: I used to have very noticeable pregnancy symptoms in the past, such as feeling sleepy after 30 days or morning nausea. Could there be other issues now, like developmental problems? I'm so worried!!!!!! Please advise the experts, thank you very much.

Doctor's answer:

At 6 weeks of pregnancy, some women may experience early pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. These symptoms typically subside around 12 weeks, though the intensity and duration can vary depending on individual. Don't worry—your doctor can provide further guidance. It is recommended to undergo blood HCG, progesterone, and ultrasound tests promptly to monitor the baby's development. Rest well during the early stages of pregnancy, ensure adequate nutrition, attend regular prenatal check-ups, and monitor both your and the baby's health.
Resting and maintaining a balanced diet is generally sufficient. An ultrasound can confirm whether the pregnancy has stopped developing.
