Features: Acupuncture and moxibustion is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. For thousands of years, it has made significant contributions to the prosperity and development of the Chinese nation. In the past two decades, the World Health Organization has actively and effectively promoted acupuncture and moxibustion, and international exchanges have become increasingly frequent. Acupuncture and moxibustion has now become a globally recognized medical discipline. In China's medical education, acupuncture and moxibustion has always been a core course in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) schools, and many Western medicine schools have also included it as an important part of TCM teaching content. Through more than 40 years of teaching practice in acupuncture and moxibustion, TCM schools have accumulated valuable experience. Based on the traditional theoretical system of acupuncture and moxibustion, combined with the achievements of modern acupuncture and moxibustion practice, the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion" textbook has been revised through six editions and has become increasingly perfect. To facilitate learners in comprehensively reviewing "Acupuncture and Moxibustion," mastering its key points, difficulties, and doubts, as well as self-assessment and exam preparation, we have compiled this supplement based on the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion" textbook from the general higher education TCM planning series, supplemented with relevant content from the new century planning series, and in accordance with the teaching syllabus requirements of the general higher education TCM planning series "Acupuncture and Moxibustion." This supplement is intended for TCM students in TCM schools across the country, candidates for various TCM and Western medicine self-study examinations, as well as TCM and Western medicine resident doctors.
