What are the characteristics and manifestations if you are pregnant

Patient's question:

If you are pregnant, what are the early signs?
First question supplement: Besides missed periods, nausea, and vomiting, are there any other signs?

Doctor's answer:

Hello: Early pregnancy symptoms include:
1. Menstruation cessation In women with a normal menstrual cycle who have not had their period for 1–2 weeks, pregnancy should be the first consideration. Pregnancy is more likely only if the period has stopped for more than 40 days. If the period still does not arrive in the second cycle, pregnancy is even more likely.
Although the cessation of menstruation is an important early pregnancy symptom, pregnancy can sometimes occur without a period or with infrequent periods. In some cases, early pregnancy may be mistaken for a period due to slight vaginal bleeding. Women who marry before their first period, breastfeeding women, or women in menopause may experience amenorrhea (cessation of menstruation) before actual conception. Conversely, during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy (equivalent to the expected date of menstruation), 1–2 episodes of light vaginal bleeding may also be mistaken for amenorrhea. Speear et al. even reported that in 225 non-miscarried pregnancies, 22% experienced vaginal bleeding within 196 days of conception. 80% of these cases occurred within the first 40 days of pregnancy and were attributed to implantation bleeding. This type of bleeding is more common in multiparous women (those who have given birth before) and occurs three times more frequently than in primiparous women (those who have never given birth). However, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy is often abnormal.
Amenorrhea can also be caused by psychological or environmental factors. The most common causes include sadness, fear (including fear of or eagerness for pregnancy), and environmental changes.
2. Nausea or vomiting Pregnant women often experience gastrointestinal dysfunction, leading to nausea or vomiting, commonly referred to as "morning sickness." This usually occurs in the morning and disappears within a few hours, though it may sometimes last longer or occur at other times. It generally appears 6 weeks after the period has stopped and naturally resolves by the 12th week of pregnancy.
