How long after undergoing an endometrial polyp surgery can one get pregnant?

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me how long after an endometrial polyp removal surgery can I get pregnant?

Doctor's answer:

It is recommended to conduct a follow-up ultrasound examination after the period. If a slightly stronger echo mass is still observed in the mid-cavity of the uterus after the period, it is suggested to undergo hysteroscopy for further treatment. If it is polyps, perform hysteroscopic resection of endometrial polyps (TCRP). If ultrasound cannot provide a clear diagnosis, the strong echoes in the uterine cavity may be polyps, submucosal uterine fibroids, endometrial cancer, etc. It is recommended to examine and treat them. After TCRP, a hysteroscopy follow-up is recommended three months later. If there are no abnormalities, pregnancy can be considered.
