Features: In the new century, every move in China's rural areas tugs at the nerves of the Chinese nation. Too many facts have shown that if our generation forgets our 900 million fellow peasants and their living conditions, we will be creating a great historical regret. Therefore, like many responsible authors, Mr. Shen Shihao has turned his gaze back to the mountain village he was raised in. In recent years, he has written many heartfelt pieces filled with nostalgia for his homeland. To help readers better read and appreciate his work, we have edited nearly one hundred of his articles, pairing the most compelling passages with vivid images for presentation to a wide audience. At the same time, we have stored all of the author's writings about the mountain village on a CD and donated it to universities. This is a "heartfelt letter" from the son of a peasant to his parents, and also a timeless read for all who have left the mountain village but do not wish to forget it.
