Deputy Minister Walking Towards the Witness Stand, Ma Xiangdong Walking Towards the Execution Ground Beforehand, and the Tragedy and Confession of a "Two-Faced Mayor." Inside Stories from the Special Task Force, Investigating "China's Big Spender Police." This is a highly readable and highly cautionary life chronicle book, hard to come by. On December 19th, during my last interview with Liu Liying, Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection for the "Mu, Ma Case," I asked casually about Ma Xiangdong's life or death outcome before the interview. Coincidentally, on that very day, Ma Xiangdong chose a new method of death, accepting a needle injection just after the execution was carried out in the morning.
