Features: With the development of economic globalization, the trend of world economic integration has become increasingly evident. In this context, governments and accounting standards-setting bodies in various countries have been committed to the international coordination of accounting standards. Particularly, the International Accounting Standards Committee (IASC) has made a series of highly effective efforts and achieved encouraging results since the release of its improvement plan. The international accounting standards it publishes have become increasingly perfect and are gaining more recognition and acceptance from countries and international organizations. On the other hand, many countries have also been dedicated to the international coordination of their own accounting standards, actively learning from international accounting practices primarily based on international accounting standards to improve their domestic accounting standards, thereby achieving the internationalization of their accounting standards. As an economic powerhouse, Japan has also made relentless efforts in the international coordination of accounting standards. Especially since the Asian financial crisis, Japan established the Accounting Standards Board of Japan (ASBJ) and successively developed and published a series of accounting standards. At the same time, relevant government agencies in Japan have been working hard to comprehensively revise and improve the existing accounting regulations. This book is compiled by translating and assembling relevant regulations on financial statements selected from Japan's revised accounting regulations.
