Publish Date: 2002-01-01
Features: This book is divided into two parts: The first part is the general theory, which describes the general principles of cranial and cerebral microanatomy and surgery, preoperative examinations, surgical complications, perioperative care, and ICU-related basic knowledge. The second part is the specific theory, focusing on the description of cranial and cerebral microsurgical anatomy and the selection of surgical approaches. As the author points out in the preface, it is hoped that this book can provide beginners with an introduction and knowledge framework for modern cranial and cerebral microsurgery, and offer modern new developments in cranial and cerebral microsurgery for physicians with years of experience. This book is compiled based on the author's reading notes, especially referencing and quoting many excellent chapters from the works of experts such as Yasargil, Rhoton, Seeager, Lang, Wilkin, Youman, and Samii. Currently, many neurosurgical monographs have been published domestically and internationally, providing detailed introductions to specific surgical techniques and knowledge. The modern neurosurgical literature is vast and beyond the scope of the author's expertise and the length of this book. Therefore, this book will focus on introducing issues that are less discussed in traditional textbooks but are essential for clinical practice, especially the new achievements in cranial and cerebral microanatomical and surgical studies both domestically and internationally.
