Features: The National Unified Entrance Examination for Master's Degree Candidates is the primary pathway for selecting master's degree candidates. In the context of large-scale, socialized national unified examination projects for education (excluding doctoral admission examinations), it is currently the highest level in terms of examination standards and hierarchy. From the perspective of measurement theory, the master's degree entrance examination should be a "norm-referenced" examination, i.e., an selective examination. The question-setting work must adhere to the principle of selecting high-level specialized talents for the country while also benefiting university teaching. It emphasizes assessing students' knowledge while focusing on their ability to analyze and solve problems, and employs scientific methods to maintain the stability of the examination level. To further summarize the experience of question-setting and to allow society and candidates to better understand the content and requirements of the "Examination Syllabus," increase the transparency of the examination, alleviate candidates' anxiety during the exam, and facilitate their normal performance, we have organized some experts who participated in the formulation and revision of the syllabus to revise the "Reference Book for the Mathematics Examination of the 2004 National Unified Entrance Examination for Master's Degree Candidates" based on the "2005 National Unified Entrance Examination for Master's Degree Candidates Mathematics Examination Syllabus." This year, we continue to publish the "Reference Book for the Mathematics Examination of the 2005 National Unified Entrance Examination for Master's Degree Candidates." The "Mathematics Examination Reference Book" is published in two volumes, one for the Science and Engineering category and the other for the Economics category, providing further clarification on the examination content and requirements. It also includes a certain number of examples to explain the difficulties and key points of the examination, striving to reflect the characteristics of master's degree mathematics examination questions. We hope it will help candidates grasp the key points and difficulties of their studies, improve their mathematical proficiency, and achieve good results in the examination. Due to limited time and experience, there may be omissions and shortcomings, and we sincerely welcome readers' corrections. Accompanying this set of books is a value-added service card.
