Without a doubt, in the face of this "knowledge explosion," every researcher aspiring to keep up with trends and innovate must engage in lifelong learning. The academic experiences of countless scholars tell us that new and useful knowledge is often difficult to obtain from the classroom—it is derived from practice, accumulated through the process of addressing new problems, and honed through mutual inspiration among knowledgeable individuals. Therefore, to continuously update knowledge and remain at the forefront of academia, what we truly need is to "bring in" experts from both domestic and international circles and allow researchers within the institute to promptly share their latest learning insights and research findings for discussion. In short, what we need is to foster an academic atmosphere where "the finest minds gather." Hosting the "IFB China Financial Forum" is precisely aimed at creating such an academic atmosphere. Since its inception, the "IFB China Financial Forum" has invited dozens of domestic and international scholars to deliver outstanding presentations. Over time, the forum has also garnered increasing attention and growing interest from various sectors of society. To respond to the enthusiastic support and encouragement from the public, we believe it is necessary to compile these remarkable speeches into a book so that more people can benefit from the wisdom of these scholars. The book records the presentations of nearly two dozen scholars who took the stage in 2004.
