Features: "Building a Harmonious and Trustworthy Society" is another work we compiled after "Building a Healthy Harmonious Society," exploring the construction of a socialist harmonious society. A harmonious society must be one of trust and friendship. Currently, there has been much exploration on the construction of a harmonious society, but most explanations revolve around the challenges we face and why we need a harmonious society. No one can precisely define a harmonious society, but basic social fairness, a harmonious social organization environment where people feel connected, and attitudes of trust, enthusiasm, justice, morality, courage, and a sense of responsibility should make people feel happy. Volunteer service, to some extent, can help us achieve these goals. Volunteer spirit refers to a spirit of voluntary participation in promoting human development, advancing social progress, and improving community work without seeking compensation or income. It is a very important way for the public to engage in social life. Volunteers come from all corners of society, understand the situations of the organizations they serve, and can act as bridges, conveying the work, roles, challenges, and other service information of the organizations to the community, thereby bridging distances. With warm care and encouragement, volunteers help service recipients reduce feelings of inferiority and alienation during service, thereby building their self-esteem and confidence. This helps establish trust and friendship throughout society.
