Features: This book is a budget reference for water conservancy projects utilizing foreign investment and implementing international bidding, covering eight parts including concrete gravity dam engineering, earth core wall rockfill dam engineering, reinforced concrete face and rockfill dam engineering, underground powerhouse engineering, tunnel engineering, sluice engineering, earth and rock material quarrying engineering, and dam foundation excavation engineering.
This reference material is based on the budget preparation methods of domestic and foreign-funded bidding projects from several national standard bidding projects in China, as well as the bottom budget compilation method of the Xiaolangdi Project. It incorporates the design references of ongoing and completed domestic projects, formulating simplified engineering models and selecting appropriate construction methods.
The construction methods in this reference material briefly describe the main construction processes and procedures for each project. Secondary construction processes and procedures and necessary auxiliary work are not listed, but the required labor, equipment, and material consumption are included in the "Machine-hour, Man-hour, and Material Consumption" table. The required construction time is also included in the "Construction Cycle Time and Duration Calculation" table.
This reference material introduces two types of engineering quantities: "Design Engineering Quantity" and "Construction Engineering Quantity." "Design Engineering Quantity" is calculated based on the geometric dimensions of the engineering design, serving as the unit of measurement. "Construction Engineering Quantity" is derived from the "Design Engineering Quantity" by adding reasonable construction additional quantities allowed during the construction process, such as certain over-excavation, concrete overfilling, and construction operation losses, introduced to calculate the required machine-hours, man-hours, and material consumption.
The construction machinery and equipment productivity in this reference material is determined based on the technical performance of the machinery and equipment and the construction conditions of the project, calculated through computation. Construction personnel are allocated according to the characteristics of the project and the skill level of workers, following the principle of fixed posts and fixed personnel. When using this reference material, calculations and adjustments should be made based on the specific conditions of the project.
