The four major features of these two books are their significant subject matter, novel perspective, careful selection and compilation, and profound educational value. The editorial format of these two books follows a three-part structure: Introduction to the Situation, Classic Victory (or Defeat), and Situation Review. "Introduction to the Situation" briefly introduces the background of the situation and historical evaluations; "Classic Victory (or Defeat)" focuses on describing the beginning and end of the political or military event; and the "Situation Review" part presents the authors' objective and fair evaluation of the situation from today's perspective. Additionally, the editors categorized the historical events into two types—political and military—in the two manuscripts and strictly arranged the articles in chronological order according to the historical timeline of the events. This approach is scientifically sound, as it respects objective history while also facilitating reader comprehension.
