Steps Collection—Collected Works of Chen Zhenhan is a collection of economic history essays by Chen Zhenhan, a renowned economist and economic historian of China's older generation. The collection is divided into two parts: Part "Draft Lectures on Introduction to Economic History," which is the lecture notes for the course on Introduction to Economic History offered by the author to the Department of Economics at Peking University in the fall of 1982. It summarizes the objectives and methods of economic history research and provides an in-depth elaboration and organization of the evolution of Western economic history schools, their historical development, and academic influence.
