Puppet troops were originally armed forces recruited and organized by Japan during its invasion of China. Enemy work includes puppet troops and is also referred to as enemy-puppet troop work. During the War of Resistance, the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army launched political campaigns, undermining and disintegrating puppet troops, encouraging them to switch sides, weakening and eliminating the enemy's strength, and strengthening the people's armed forces. The achievements they made were significant, and the experience they accumulated was extensive. This book focuses on writing about the recruitment and education of prisoners, while leaving out the topic of puppet troops. Second, regarding the issue of the Korean Independence Alliance. A portion of the Japanese soldiers in the invasion of China were forcibly conscripted Korean soldiers. After being captured by the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army, they became aware and opposed the aggressive war launched by the Japanese fascists. They established the Korean Independence Alliance and the Korean Volunteer Army, working alongside Japanese anti-war groups in China to support the enemy work departments of the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army in undermining the enemy. They made important contributions to the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance. This book focuses on recording the achievements of Japanese anti-war groups in China, while leaving out the achievements of the Korean Independence Alliance.
