Introduction: Since its publication in 2000, the "Building Glass and Safety Glass Standard Collection" has been well-received by a wide range of glass processing enterprises, as well as construction companies, the building decoration industry, and the automotive manufacturing industry. The first printing of 3,000 copies has long been out of stock. In accordance with the unified arrangements of the National Standardization Administration of China, the building glass industry has also undergone standard cleanup and rectification, abolishing some product standards for products with low usage or produced using outdated processes, while adding many new product standards for advanced production processes. Over the past few years, some standards have also been replaced by new ones, which have been included in this published collection. Compared to the previous edition, some standards that were not as useful have been removed, making the collection more aligned with practical applications.
The second edition of the "Building Glass and Safety Glass Standard Collection" compiles 90 current national and industry standards in China for building glass and safety glass (as of the end of May 2005). This includes 39 national standards and 51 industry standards, primarily covering important product standards, test methods, and basic standards for flat glass, float glass, safety glass, and other key products.
