The principles are often profound but are often hidden in small things. The stories come from history or real life, making them easy to understand, yet the lessons they teach leave a lasting impression. Gold is not pure, and people are not perfect; everyone has their own flaws. However, some people repeatedly commit the same mistakes, and even more tragically, they are completely unaware of it when they do. Therefore, when we encounter failure, we should not be discouraged but must remind ourselves never to stumble over the same stone twice. As the saying goes, "Before doing a thing, one must first be a person." This applies to governing as well—first and foremost, one must establish virtue. A person without virtue may achieve success in a single instance but will ultimately fail in life and be despised by others. On the other hand, a person with great virtue may experience failure in a single instance but will ultimately succeed in life and earn people's admiration. Therefore, for a leader who wishes to stand unshakably victorious, it is essential to win people over with virtue and govern with virtue. There are many more lessons contained in the stories of this book. We hope you can gain inspiration from them, find support for your success, and discover the true essence of life.
