Publish Date: 2005-09-01
Features: This book is one of the "Xanth" series novels that "redefined the entire fantasy series." Xanth is a land ruled by magic, where everyone possesses unique magical abilities, along with centaurs, dragons, and serpent people. In the "Xanth" series, author Anthony uses a wealth of puns and childlike humor to satirize various human weaknesses, enhancing the novel's entertainment value. This later became a typical feature of Anthony's works. Reading Anthony's books is like immersing yourself in the wonderful world of Mozart's string quartets; the highly imaginative content makes it hard to put down!
