Features: Aldo Rossi's architecture has long been renowned for its rigorous and minimalist conception, a quality that is evident not only in its composition. If we analyze any design from his developmental process—from concept to sketch, architectural drawing, model, and ultimately to the actual construction—we can observe the inherent symmetry, proportions, and volumetric relationships within the buildings. Even in darkness and solitude, for Aldo Rossi, drawing was never the end; the final result lay in the architecture. It reflected a reality, a period of his own life. Continuously redesigning the same elements: portals, corridors, cubes, cones, pillars, overlapping and combining them until they form objects in real life. When these elements descend, transforming into buildings, they choose not to express but to reveal their trajectories.
