Features: This book is specifically designed for the French Interpretation Comprehensive Ability (Level 2) of the National Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination. The purpose of the Comprehensive Ability examination is to assess whether candidates' listening comprehension and information processing skills meet the requirements of professional work. The Comprehensive Ability examination consists of four types of questions: judgment (20 questions), short sentence choice (20 questions), passage choice (20 questions), and listening summary. Candidates must complete the entire exam by listening. In this book, we have carefully selected and compiled highly targeted training questions based on the requirements of the French Interpretation Level 2 Examination Syllabus (Trial) and the actual exam modules and question types. The language materials used in this book are mostly sourced from authoritative French publications, newspapers, magazines, and publications of international organizations. The content is authentic and the language is standardized, covering fields such as politics, economy, society, culture, sports, science and technology, and law. Through training, candidates not only gain exposure to various topics and gain an understanding of issues commonly in the international community and daily life but also become familiar with the exam questions, expand their vocabulary, and improve their French proficiency and listening comprehension skills. The book is divided into 16 units based on themes. Each unit consists of four parts. Part 1 is the judgment section, with 20 sentences. Each sentence is played only once, and candidates must make a true or false judgment after listening to each recording. Part 2 is the short sentence choice section, with 20 short passages. Each passage is also played only once, and candidates must select the correct answer after listening to each recording. Part 3 consists of slightly longer passages, divided into 5 paragraphs. Each paragraph is accompanied by 4 multiple-choice questions, and this section is also played only once. Part 4 is the listening summary, where candidates listen to a short passage recording of about 3 minutes and then write a summary in French. The 16 lessons in this book can serve as a real simulation test. Through listening, learning, writing, and practice, candidates can expand their vocabulary and knowledge, improve their overall listening comprehension and written expression skills, and prepare thoroughly for the exam.
