Features: A series of research outcomes from the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Research, China Renmin University of Political Science and Law – "Dialogues with Entrepreneurs (Volume )" collects interviews published in various issues of the journal Economic Theory and Economic Management in 2001 and 2002. Enterprises are the cells of the national economy; only when every enterprise is vibrant, grows continuously, and possesses core competitiveness can the national economy develop healthily, rapidly, and stably. Only when more Chinese enterprises enter the Fortune Global 500 and become industry leaders on the global economic stage can the Chinese economy flourish and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation be realized. Therefore, revealing the secrets of enterprise success and analyzing the causes of enterprise failure; discussing the art of running a business and exploring the path of enterprise growth are not only crucial for national prosperity and strength but also indispensable for the long-term sustainability of enterprises. This is because it provides an inexhaustible fertile ground for successful enterprises and an endless bright sunshine for those struggling in the dark. Based on this philosophy, we have compiled this "Dialogues with Entrepreneurs (Volume )" and plan to release one volume every year to make our utmost efforts to achieve this vision. Exploring the path of enterprise operations, growth, and sustainability, and summarizing, refining, and elevating the diverse and rich "practices" of various enterprises into general "classics" cannot be achieved solely through the diligent research of scholars in their studies, nor can it be accomplished solely through the hard work of entrepreneurs on the front lines. The only viable approach is to combine the two, allowing the theoretical tree of scholars to receive practical nourishment from entrepreneurs, and the practical experiences of entrepreneurs to be refined and organized by scholars. In this sense, this outcome provides a platform for scholars and entrepreneurs to communicate, learn from each other, and cooperate together. In this outcome, those "dialoguing" with entrepreneurs include both business management professors and economics professors; both scholars engaged in research in academia and journalists who gather insights from the entrepreneurial community. From different perspectives such as management, economics, and sociology, they apply existing theories to propose their own suggestions for the problems faced by entrepreneurs. They also test existing theories with entrepreneurial practices and develop them further.
