Features: If literature and art are a vast ocean, fables are the small ripples jumping within it; if literature and art are a brilliant starry sky, fables are the twinkling stars among them. Though "small," fables possess their unique brilliance. Stories of animals in nature reflect different aspects of human life. Simple words, short stories, convey profound meanings, leaving endless reflections. The fable stories selected for this book vary in style, form, and content, hoping readers can find joy and inspiration in them. Enter the "World of Fables," and you will encounter all kinds of animals and diverse characters: they are speaking and doing various things. Look, the selfless bee and the filial lark compose a hymn of virtue; the mischievous kangaroo and the spoiled monkey remind us of the importance of education; the arrogant goose and the lying mole issue warning signals; the proud mother monkey and the lion in love teach us different kinds of emotions; the perceptive fox and the composed donkey demonstrate the way of handling matters; the evil wolf and the adventurous lobster provoke fragments of life's reflections.
