Features: People running for their lives in the rain. So many raindrops were tapping against my glass, as if playing a musical instrument. After a terrifying earthquake, the teenager Chunlei escaped with various shapes of glass stuck all over his body, yet he didn’t feel any pain—not because he had lost consciousness, but because his mind had no space to hold pain. His mind was filled with a beautiful woman: she had long eyelashes, eyes clearer than the blue sky, and rosy cheeks with dimples. "You Don’t Know How Beautiful She Is" tells just such a story. Years later, the scars left by the glass covered the boy’s body, but his heart was filled with happy memories of the beautiful woman named Qingkui. It had nothing to do with suffering; it simply showed that love is a miracle in life. This short story is currently being adapted into a film. Another short story in this book, Our Father, has already been adapted into a 20-episode television drama of the same name, starring Liu Zifeng, You Yong, Yang Ruoxi, and Shi Lanyan.
