Features: The "Criminal Administration Punishment Law" meets the needs of social security situation development and further improves the criminal administration punishment system. Since the implementation of the "Criminal Administration Punishment Regulation" on January 1, 1987, it has played an important role in maintaining social order. However, with the development of society, especially after China's entry into the "WTO," many new situations and issues have emerged in criminal administration. It is urgently needed to formulate the "Criminal Administration Punishment Law" based on the experience of implementing criminal administration punishment. To this end, after several discussions, the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress passed the "Criminal Administration Punishment Law of the People's Republic of China" at the 17th session of the Tenth National People's Congress. This law, based on the needs of social development and closely the actual situation of criminal administration punishment in China, appropriately increased the scope of fines, added violations of the criminal administration that should be punished, enriched and improved the procedures of criminal administration punishment, and at the same time emphasized the regulation of the exercise of police power. It provides effective legal protection for public security organs to severely and punish acts that endanger social security, strengthen social security management, and provide effective legal safeguards. To enable public security personnel to learn and master the legislative intent of the Criminal Administration Punishment Law, accurately apply legal provisions, and improve case handling quality, we organized relevant personnel from national organs to compile this book. The purpose of compilation is to closely criminal administration work, refine legal provisions, explain difficult issues in detail, and meet practical needs. This book can be used as a reference for public security and judicial personnel, and is also beneficial for citizens to learn and understand the Criminal Administration Punishment Law.
