Features: This book includes works by renowned essayists from three generations—today, the older generation, and the middle and young generations—offering considerable breadth. To ask what makes this book special, I believe it is closely linked to the flourishing development of Chinese essays in the past decade. In terms of editing, the book adopts a dual-track system of selected by the editor and self-selected by the authors. Given that people often know themselves better in certain situations, we respect the authors' own choices more. The book collects a large number of classic essays by famous contemporary Chinese writers. It is rich in content, compiling the works of essayists into one volume. With this book in hand, it's like making friends with countless literary giants, listening to their insights and analyses of life, society, and daily existence, engaging in conversations with them, and understanding their inner worlds.
