Can candidiasis be cured?

Patient's question:

Detailed medical condition and consultation purpose: A few days ago, I suddenly felt itchy at the vaginal opening. After examination, it was diagnosed as candidal vulvovaginitis. Therefore, I am very interested in knowing how to cure candidal vulvovaginitis, as well as relevant information about it. This includes symptoms, treatment duration, treatment methods, and treatment medications, etc.
Duration of the current illness: 5 days
Current general condition: Feeling itchy
Medical history: Yesterday, during the examination, moderate cervical erosion was also found. It was sudden and had never occurred before.

Doctor's answer:

Candidal vulvovaginitis, prone to recurrence, requires treatment according to a prescribed course. All cases of candidal vulvovaginitis should be treated by both partners.
Women can use the vaginal Ozone Antimicrobial Agent (Ousann) for this condition, which is particularly effective for various vaginal inflammation caused by fungi. Use it in moderation 3 days before the menstrual period and 4 days after the period ends. Apply the liquid from the tube into the vagina, place a previously prepared sanitary pad, and rest lying down for 10-20 minutes.
Men can apply the liquid from the tube to a cotton ball after their daily bath and rub it onto the foreskin of the penis.
Note: Abstain from sexual activity during treatment and avoid spicy or irritating foods.
