Why do nipples be concave

Patient's question:

Why is my nipple concave instead of convex?

Doctor's answer:

Guidance: Nipple inversion refers to a condition where the nipple does not protrude above the breast skin and does not protrude even when pulled. In this case, the inverted nipple within the breast can be pulled out by hand and held in place for a period of time. If this method is not effective, you can try the syringe suction method. Prepare a 10-mL plastic syringe, remove the outer casing from the front end of the syringe; withdraw the needle core, turn the syringe over, and align the open end of the outer casing with the inverted nipple. Then insert the needle core from the cut end of the syringe into the front end, gently suction, and use the negative pressure of the syringe to pull out the inverted nipple and hold it in place for 5-6 minutes. Repeat 1-2 times daily.
