Features: This textbook uses experiments as a platform to explain the physical theoretical knowledge required for specialized courses. It does not pursue the completeness and systematic nature of traditional physical theory, serving as an integration of traditional physical theory textbooks and physical experiment textbooks. The textbook is divided into five parts: Basic Knowledge of Physics and Experiments; Measurement of Basic Quantities: Length, Density, Moment of Inertia, Young's Modulus, and Focal Length of Thin Lenses; Use of Basic Instruments: Multimeters, Wheatstone Bridges, Oscilloscopes, and Spectrometers; Study of Basic Laws: Conservation of Momentum, Distribution of Electrostatic Fields, Relationship Between Power Output of a Power Supply and Load Resistance, Volt-Ampere Characteristics Curves of Linear and Nonlinear Elements, Electron Beam Deflection, Magnetic Field Distribution Inside a Solenoid, and Interference of Light; Exploration and Practice: Design of Digital Multimeters. The appendix includes examples of experimental reports, China's legal metrological units, common physical constants, densities of solid and liquid substances, and Young's moduli of common metals. Several reading materials are interspersed throughout the main text of the textbook. This book can be used as a physics textbook for science and engineering majors in secondary vocational colleges, higher vocational colleges, adult colleges, and two-year vocational colleges and private colleges of undergraduate universities.
