Features: Chapter 3 of this standard is mandatory, while the rest is recommended. This standard replaces HG2273.1—1992 "Series Products of Natural Gas Primary Conversion Catalysts." The main changes compared to HG2273.1—1992 are as follows:

- The standard name has been revised to "Series Products of Natural Gas Primary Conversion Catalysts."
- The second paragraph of the scope has been revised to "This standard applies to Z102, Z107, Z108, Z109-1Y, Z109-2Y, Z110Y, and Z111 type natural gas primary conversion catalysts and their products used in ammonia, methanol, and hydrogen production industries, where natural gas and steam are used as raw materials to produce synthesis gas and hydrogen."
- The content of 3.1 "Main Physical Properties and Chemical Composition" in the original standard has been removed.
- Table 1 has been redesigned, with the mass fraction of nickel oxide uniformly revised to ≥14%. The first-grade product indicators in Table 1 have been removed.
- The measurement methods for the mass fraction of nickel oxide, activity, and crushing strength in Chapter 4 "Test Methods" have been listed separately.
- "Particle Radial Crushing Strength" has been revised to "Particle Radial Crushing Force," with the unit of crushing force being N/cm. The measurement method shall be carried out in accordance with HG/T2782-1996.
- Some parts of the "Inspection Rules" have been revised.
- The original standard's standards and text have been appropriately revised, with some additional content added.
This standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Chemical Fertilizer Catalysts Technical Committee of the National Fertilizer and Soil Conditioner Standardization Technical Committee.
