Features: With the continuous improvement of competitive levels in sports for people with disabilities and the further expansion of sports programs, disability sports are increasingly relying on technological support and knowledge services provided by the intellectual support system of sports science development. To meet the needs of development, the China Disabled Persons' Olympic Committee has strengthened scientific research in disability sports. On one hand, it has guided and established awareness of scientific research in disability sports; on the other hand, it has encouraged research practices and implemented corresponding measures. This edition of the National Disability Sports Science Academic Conference is the first in history. The convening of this conference and the publication of the "Proceedings" will mark a good start for promoting the popularization, systematization, and institutionalization of scientific research in disability sports in our country. A total of 92 papers were collected for this conference, and due to space limitations, 55 articles included in the "Proceedings" were selected from the full texts through preferential selection. They cover disability sports education, competitions, training, fitness and rehabilitation, as well as theoretical research on disability sports at macro and micro levels.
