Understanding and mastering essential trade and economic terms is a fundamental requirement for those working in foreign trade and economic cooperation. In light of this, based on years of accumulated knowledge, we have compiled this "New Practical English-Chinese Business and Economics Vocabulary Handbook."
The Foreign Languages Department of Changzhou Institute of Technology has been offering a major in foreign trade English since 1982. Over the past two decades, many of our teachers have dedicated themselves tirelessly to researching, encountering, and accumulating numerous terms related to foreign economic relations, foreign trade, international finance, and other fields. Through comparison and selection, we have compiled this concise vocabulary handbook. The content covers international trade, international finance, economics, marketing, accounting, insurance, taxation, securities, and economic management, among others.
When compiling this handbook, we adhered to the following principles:

2. The definitions provided are generally the primary or secondary meanings.
3. The definitions are based on the latest available materials.
