Features: The Core Course of Legal English consists of three volumes, with each volume containing 16 units. This is the third volume, which includes 16 units focusing on international economic law. The content of each unit largely corresponds to the second unit, covering topics such as: the legal environment of international business, international trade practices, contract law, the legal framework of the WTO, international technology transfer, international investment, international financial law, international tax law, international dispute resolution, and more. Each unit includes a legal English text featuring typical cases. Following the text are annotations providing the necessary legal, social, and cultural background knowledge for understanding the material. Subsequently, there are reading comprehension questions closely tied to the text to reinforce understanding and consolidate learned knowledge, as well as word discrimination exercises to strengthen vocabulary. The words in the word discrimination section are primarily selected from the text, with most being legal terms. The reading section provides a case study, followed by answer questions addressing the main and specific content to assess students' comprehension.
