Features: This textbook is one of the 32 textbooks for the eight-year medical education program, organized and compiled by the National Higher Medical Education Textbook Construction Research Association and the Textbook Office of the Ministry of Health. It was written by 19 professors with years of experience in long-term medical education from 15 medical and pharmaceutical institutions across the country that offer long-term medical education programs.

At the end of the book, there is a bilingual glossary of professional terms (Chinese-English) and a bilingual index, which facilitates students' search and review.
