We have compiled this book in accordance with the spirit of the Ministry of Education's "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" for the construction of national planned teaching materials for general higher education. The compilation of this book is centered around the training objectives of undergraduate students in various medical disciplines, striving to reflect the requirements of the Ministry of Education for the ideological, scientific, advanced, inspirational, and applicable aspects of higher education teaching materials. Considering that medical psychology is a medical public basic course, this textbook has increased content related to "Psychology Basics" and "Psychosocial Factors and Health," and strengthened the introduction of five psychological theories in Chapter 2. The textbook has appropriately adjusted the content on "Psychological Diagnosis," "Psychological Counseling," and "Psychological Therapy." The textbook provides medical students with certain self-study materials, giving students interested in medical psychology a space to expand their knowledge. During the compilation process, the textbook was referenced to the basic requirements of the National Medical Examination for Licensed Physicians, expanding its applicability.
