Features: The Jing ethnic group is unique to Dongxing City and is primarily concentrated in the three village committees of Wanwei, Wutou, and Shanshen in Jiangping Town. In terms of the selection of survey sites, the available options are extremely limited. After more than 50 years of construction and development since the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially since the 1990s, their production and living conditions have undergone significant changes compared to the situation during the national minority survey in the 1950s. Traditional houses have been almost completely replaced, and traditional clothing is worn by almost no one. The three villages are under the jurisdiction of the village committees. Due to the rich natural resources, favorable location, and rapid economic development, the annual per capita income of the villagers is all above 2,500 yuan. Among the three villages, Wutou is the best, followed by Wanwei, and Shanshen retains more ethnic cultural traditions and customs compared to the others, meeting the basic requirements of this survey.
