Features: This book was written as a training textbook for the new curriculum of primary school mathematics under full-time compulsory education. The purpose of writing this textbook is to: reflect the concepts and content of the new mathematics curriculum; update the educational and teaching concepts of participants and improve their professional level; provide case studies of participatory primary school mathematics teaching. The entire book is divided into seven units. Each unit is designed with introductory training content, aiming to enable participants to review and reflect on the current state of primary school mathematics teaching, recognize the shortcomings in current teaching practices, experience the necessity of the new round of basic education curriculum reforms, and the superiority of participatory teaching, thereby preparing them conceptually and psychologically for the subsequent training activities. The second unit is designed to discuss the changes and innovations in the conceptual design, curriculum objective structure, and statement methods of the National Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education. Units three to six are designed based on the learning areas of the first and second stages of the Standards, with the content of numbers and algebra, as well as spatial and graphical content, all consisting of three parts: participatory discussion activities on the content standards of each area; interpretation of the content standards of each area; and participatory activities to deepen the understanding of the content standards of each area. The seventh unit is designed to evaluate, test, and consolidate the training effects. To extend the training content and broaden participants' perspectives, relevant reading materials related to the content of each lesson are provided after some lessons.
