Features: This book attempts to explore the acquisition patterns of foreign students in learning Chinese by studying their cognitive processing of Chinese sentences. The book is divided into five chapters: Theoretical Background, Research Design, Results and Analysis, General Discussion, and Conclusion. The appendix at the end of the book contains relevant materials for the specific implementation of the research and tables and figures cited in the text but not conveniently placed in the main body. The tables and figures are arranged in the order they appear in the main text. Some tables in the book cannot be split and are presented in a horizontal format at the latter part of the appendix. Some figures are directly generated using statistical software SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions), and their labels differ from the commonly used domestic labeling methods. This book represents an attempt to comprehensively apply theories and methods from linguistics and psychology to explore the issue of foreign students acquiring Chinese.
