It elaborates on the concept and background of networked manufacturing, the development and application cases of networked manufacturing both domestically and internationally. It introduces the supporting technologies, advanced manufacturing technologies, and control technologies of networked manufacturing, such as the selection of virtual alliance enterprise partners, personalized product customization, networked collaborative design, remote processing, and remote quality monitoring. It discusses organizational models of networked manufacturing, supply chain management, and the identification and evaluation of enterprise core competitiveness. It also proposes strategies and recommendations for China's development of networked manufacturing.
