Features: This book is a revised version based on the first edition, serving as an experimental teaching material with a new system designed for the new century. The book is divided into two parts, corresponding to the two semesters of physics experimental teaching. The first part consists of 3 chapters: Chapter 1 systematically introduces the basic knowledge of errors, uncertainties, and basic data processing methods; Chapter 2 introduces the basic instruments of physics experiments; Chapter 3 includes 17 fundamental training experiments covering mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and optics, which students can choose during the semester. The second part is also divided into 3 chapters: Chapter 4 summarizes the commonly used basic measurement methods in physics experiments, analyzes systematic errors, and introduces the basics of design-oriented experiments based on the fundamental training experiments of the first semester; Chapter 5 arranges 16 comprehensive and advanced experiments for students to choose from in the second semester; finally, Chapter 6 includes 10 design-oriented experiments for open experiments and organizing physics experiment competitions. When writing this book, the guiding principles of "facilitating teaching organization," "clear hierarchical progression," and "emphasizing quality development" were followed. This book can be used as a physics experimental teaching material for various majors in higher industrial schools, as well as a reference for experimental technicians involved in physics-related work and teachers of relevant courses.
