Through this process, I have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of makeup: "beauty" is merely the surface meaning of makeup, and its significance goes far beyond that. Fashion makeup and styling differ from everyday makeup; it combines the stage with trends, allowing for the reasonable creation and display of makeup as a form of painting in another sense. Yet, makeup and styling is an art that is not bound by the elements of painting. It is about life, about beauty, about human philosophy, reflecting the spiritual world. It has an extremely broad scope, capable of incorporating sociology, ethics, psychology, literature, optics, painting, sculpture, music, fashion culture, regional customs, and more. It is a reflection of connotation and cultivation. "The Extreme" is a summary of my work in teaching and various aspects of fashion styling over the years. It is an exploratory attempt that uses multiple images and styles to guide the visual experience. In terms of positioning, this book is not limited to facial makeup but strives to achieve the completeness of the overall styling by integrating the environment, lighting, and materials. Just as everyone has their own unique characteristics, a stylist also has their own path. As for me, I enjoy using various materials and
