Features: In Chapters "English Business Letters" and "English Social Letters," this book lists numerous examples and cases of English application documents related to daily life. Although they are ordinary English application documents in form, their content is generally close to the daily medical activities of medical workers to make them less unfamiliar when read. Chapter "Medical English Application Documents" lists the commonly used English application documents in the daily medical activities of medical workers. Chapter "Medical English Abstracts" not only introduces how to write English medical paper abstracts but also provides examples of abstracts published in foreign medical journals. In terms of structural arrangement, this book follows the principle of "emphasizing both theory and practice," striving to collect application documents that medical workers may use in various medical activities. It briefly describes the purpose, structure, form, or wording of each application document before providing examples. The examples are quoted from foreign reference books or rewritten by the editor; the cases are real examples. Both are intended to help readers understand the characteristics and formats of each application document, allowing them to refer to, imitate, or adapt them, achieving the purpose of "learning from others to improve oneself." Considering that some beginners may have difficulties reading English originals, translations are provided after each example for easy comparison. The translations are generally word-for-word to facilitate readers' reference.
