(II) Broadcasting is a concentrated embodiment of language. Radio and television broadcast a large number of programs every day, involving the hard work of all staff members. However, the final link that directly connects with the audience is broadcasting. Broadcasting has thus become a concentrated embodiment of language. Whether the announcer can accurately, vividly, and engagingly convey the content of the program directly affects the publicity effect of radio and television. If the content is distorted or mispronounced, it may even produce the opposite effect. We often encounter the following situation when listening to the radio: the written content may be mediocre, but after the announcer's creative vocal performance, it sounds warm, enthusiastic, and emotionally dynamic. The audience is captivated and moved by the announcer's vivid language, achieving a better effect. Broadcasting adds color to the script. We also often encounter cases where some programs are emotionally moving and well-written, but the announcer remains indifferent, presenting a cold demeanor and delivering a dull performance, making it difficult for the audience to engage and fail to achieve the desired publicity effect. It is clear that broadcasting is a very important aspect and the "face" of radio and television. An audience often judges the quality of a radio or television program based on how well it is broadcast. As leaders of radio and television stations, they should pay great attention to this aspect of broadcasting. As announcers, there is no reason to undervalue their own work. The key is to strengthen learning, enhance their understanding of the importance of broadcasting, and improve their language expression skills to truly reflect the collective achievement.
(III) Broadcasting is the bond between the radio station and the audience. The report of the 11th National Radio and Television Work Conference stated: "Radio and television must persist in serving the Chinese people and people around the world, becoming a bridge for the Party and the government to connect with the masses, and becoming the trusted friends of the people." Every day, China's radio and television stations promote the Party's policies and principles, disseminate domestic and international new information, broadcast scientific and cultural knowledge, and conduct ideological education in patriotism and communism. The broad audience, including some grassroots cadres, relies on radio and television to understand the Party's policies and obtain various information. This has become a part of their lives, even forming a habit. The audience directly hears and sees the announcer, considering them their trusted friends. Broadcasting has thus become the bond between the radio station and the masses.
