Features: Youth is not a period of time, but a state of mind; youth is not rosy cheeks, red lips, and gentle knees, but a profound will, expansive imagination, and passionate emotions; youth is the source of life, ceaselessly flowing. This collection is edited by Cao Wenxuan, a professor, doctoral supervisor, and renowned writer at Peking University, with contributions from students of Peking and Tsinghua Universities. Students from these two prestigious institutions, who love life and writing, have compiled their personal diaries, essays, correspondence, and writings from their middle and university years. Unlike the usual "experiences" or "top student guides," these candidly shared writings have become authentic testimonials to their youthful personalities—once again capturing the thrill of a girl's heartbeat, the joy of meeting a kindred spirit, the mischievous smiles when dealing with parents and teachers, and the fleeting thoughts of dropping out. These beautiful youthful memories have been experienced, are being experienced, or will be experienced by everyone. Youth is just like this! Unburdened and unpretentious, these young talents freely pour out their passion, express their insights, vent their frustrations, confess their sorrows, and honestly reveal their growth journeys—just like their peers. The dreams they have chased, the people they have loved, the tears they have shed, the nights they have studied by candlelight—the struggles, difficult choices, vibrant energy, and endless possibilities. Is your youth like this?
