Features: Through research and comparison, I sincerely hope that this set of scientifically, systematically, and concise "Selected Exercises for Beginning Violinists" (Volumes 1 and 2) can be published in China. I wish to publish and promote these exercises in China because they are based on modern violin teaching principles, following scientific training steps to select from existing exercises. The outstanding exercises selected have been systematically and meticulously arranged, enabling students to master the basic techniques of violin playing more quickly and firmly. Volume 1 includes 19 simple preparatory exercises, 66 position exercises, and 15 simple double-stop exercises at the end. Volume 2 features preparatory exercises for shifting positions and exercises like (Donnt), (Kreutzer), and others, laying a solid foundation for shifting positions. Additionally, I believe that precise intonation, strict rhythm, and rich tone production are the basic requirements for playing the violin well. Therefore, from the beginning of learning these exercises, we must always strive to meet these basic requirements. To help beginners achieve these requirements better, Shanghai Music Publishing House has specially released audio cassettes accompanying these two exercise books.
