Features: Respiratory diseases are common and frequently occurring illnesses that harm people's health. Statistical data show that respiratory diseases account for 20%-30% of internal medicine diseases, with higher prevalence during certain seasons. Currently, infectious lung diseases in China have not been effectively controlled. Due to factors such as environmental pollution and smoking, the incidence of some lung diseases has shown a significant upward trend. Especially, the recent global outbreak of atypical pneumonia has greatly threatened people's lives and health, disrupting the normal development of the economy and society. Therefore, we should pay more attention to the prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases. Traditional Chinese medicine has always emphasized prevention. The earliest classical medical text in China, the Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon, proposed the concept of "treating before illness" and stressed "preventing problems before they arise." Just like Chinese medicine, food also has basic therapeutic properties such as four natures (cold, cool, warm, hot) and five flavors (sweet, pungent, sour, bitter, salty). Therefore, patients with respiratory diseases can achieve the goal of preventing and treating illness by following a reasonable dietary regimen based on their specific physical needs.
