Features: The television publicity work for controlling the Yellow River began in 1985. Under the attention of leaders at all levels of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission, a comprehensive television communication system with capabilities in filming, collecting, editing, production, and broadcasting has been preliminarily established across the entire river. Independently and in collaboration with China Central Television (CCTV) and provincial and municipal local stations, a large number of television news reports, special programs, reports, and reference materials have been produced, playing a strong role in helping the world understand the Yellow River, pay attention to it, and support the work of controlling the river. In 1999, in conjunction with the construction of the national flood control command system and the Yellow River flood control command system, the Yellow River Cable Television Station began to establish a video image library, categorizing and organizing image materials preserved over the past decade to directly serve the development of controlling the Yellow River. Due to the long construction cycle of the system, to facilitate the early utilization and exchange of these video works, the planning of the book "Focus on the Yellow River" was proposed based on the work of establishing the image library. Due to the limitations of this book, only some special programs and reports from 1995 to 2002 were selected, and a large number of outstanding news works could not be included.
