Features: Numerous meteorological and hydrological factors influence the water cycle process and changes in water resources. They are both independent and interconnected, and include the impact of various human activities. To comprehensively analyze the issue, it is necessary to accurately quantify each meteorological and hydrological factor. This atlas contains over 260 figures, including content such as astronomical radiation, duration of daylight, percentage of daylight, sunshine duration, total radiation, surface albedo, effective radiation, annual radiation balance, precipitation, maximum precipitation, minimum precipitation, precipitation variability coefficient, annual precipitation probability, annual radiation aridity index, average annual temperature, equilibrium maximum temperature, average minimum temperature, pan evaporation, potential evapotranspiration, land surface evapotranspiration, soil moisture, annual runoff depth, and groundwater system distribution in the entire Yellow River basin. Among them, the drainage inversion based on DEM for astronomical radiation and duration of daylight, the actual land surface evapotranspiration and potential evapotranspiration across the basin based on a distributed actual land surface evapotranspiration model, and the soil temperature map compiled based on remote sensing information are all new achievements first proposed in the Yellow River basin. The atlas is accompanied by transparent overlays of major place names, water data zoning, and tributary boundaries, making it convenient for application and highlighting its unique features. The findings in this atlas can provide a theoretical basis for the study of hydrological data changes in the Yellow River basin.
