Features: The Chinese nation has a history of thousands of years of civilization, creating a splendid and brilliant ancient culture, leaving behind rich spiritual treasures for humanity. It not only produced immense cohesion for the formation and development of the Chinese nation but also holds significant practical value today. It enables people to correctly understand their national history while receiving patriotic education, cultivating moral sentiments, improving the cultural quality of the entire nation, and promoting the prosperity of socialist culture. These are the cultural essence of our Yellow River and Yangtze descendants, shaping the national spirit of the Chinese nation. To inherit our excellent cultural heritage and to carry forward the historical legacy of our ancient civilization, we have launched the "Chinese Traditional Culture Classics Library" series. This series adheres to the principle of innovating while promoting tradition. It selects and publishes various classic works from the history of our nation's classics, histories, philosophies, and literary works, presenting them in modern translations. We first focus on selecting immortal masterpieces with typical significance in ancient Chinese philosophy, history, geography, literature, and science, while also including famous and widely circulated selections passed down through generations. Considering the need for popularization and the target audience, most of these works are translated selectively, with annotations provided for the selected parts. The translations strive for accuracy and fluency, relieving readers from the difficulties of facing complex and profound ancient texts, making it suitable for the fast-paced modern era. This allows readers to directly engage with the essence of ancient Chinese culture, learn, and apply it simultaneously. It aims to make the elderly, middle-aged, and young people all willing to read and able to understand, deriving benefits from it.
